My recent movie list

I know I have not been able to keep up with my blogging which is very sad. I try so much and here I am. First let me talk about the movies that I watched in the recent past. I think I would just talk about the ones that are worth talking J. I liked Sathuranga Vettai, Jigarthanda, Velai Illa Pattathaari & Adhithi.

Sathuranga Vettai – This movie is very real on how the normal people get cheated in the everyday world. It was told very convincingly and Natraj (cameraman) acted as a hero and he acted very well. The lady lead was Ishara and she also acted very well. This is surely a one-time watch.

Jigarthanda – This is really a cool movie. I really felt that it is a different script. The first half and the second half had complete different feeling. Bobby Simha did a fantastic job and Siddharth did his role very well. I did not like Lakshmi Menon as well as her character in the movie. There is no real love or chemistry between her and Siddharth. Karthik Subburaj did a wonderful job directing this movie completing different from his debut “Pizza” with Vijay Sethupathy. Go ahead and enjoy the Jigarthanda J.

Velai Illa Pattathaari – This movie is very similar to what Dhanush had been doing initially. He fits the role perfect in the movie as the son who does not listen to his parents, does not get along with his dad, does not have a job etc. I would rate this as a OK movie. But after some point, the dialogues were more like Dhanush saying against his co-brother who is taking care of his dad’s construction business in Chennai. Andha kadavulukku dhaan velicham J.

Adhithi – This is the remake of Malayalam movei “Cocktail” which in turn was a copy of English movie. I did not watch the English and/or Malayalam versions. So this was quite engaging and thrilling. Nandha and Ananya acted in this. Ananya had lost so much weight. This is a one-time watch too.
